Backseat Conceptions.com Over the Summer of 2003 and 2004, Director Doug Sakmann set out on the Vans Warped Tour with the Backseat Conceptions crew in a beat up, old-school, school bus full of film-making and special effects equipment to create the ultimate punk rock slasher movie. Now, Springman Records and Backseat Conceptions are proud to present PUNK ROCK HOLOCAUST, in stores nationwide on DVD November 23. This slasher/zombie comedy film is sure to entertain horror movie fans, Warped Tour fans and punkers alike with hilarious scenes and brutal murders of 23 bands featuring Warped Tour favorites including The Used, Andrew WK, Pennywise, Face To Face, Atmosphere, Simple Plan, Mest and Suicide Machines to name a few. The film follows Warped Tour founder Kevin Lyman as he tries to maintain the tour amid a string of gristly murders while keeping the evil record executive Belial (Played by Troma’s Lloyd Kaufman) at bay. Meanwhile, tour reporter Heather Vantress is trying to figure out who is behind the heinous crimes as the Warped Tour crew and bands (all played by themselves) are struggling to survive and stay on the road. Punk Rock Holocaust features the highest on-screen body count in slasher film history with entire crowds being massacred in addition to the deaths of over 110 band members!
